Though no official word on Avengers 2 - Marvel has green-lit and will begin production on Iron Man 3, Thor 2, and Captain America 2, plus another two that are as of now unannounced.
With a release date of Nov. 13th 2013, Thor 2 is slated to begin filming late summer. Kenneth Branagh is stepping back from the helm and producing this one, letting Alan Taylor take the reigns. Back are Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Idris Elba, and Anthony Hopkins.
With a worldwide gross of $449 million, comic book movies are the business to be in.
